Our favorite ways to enjoy garlic
The best way to receive the highest antioxidant and nutrient intake from garlic is to mince or chop garlic finely and let rest for 10 minutes before adding to your dish so the compounds in the garlic (alliin and alliinase) to create the bioactive compound allicin
Fresh or dried garlic scapes in mashed potatoes for a mild garlic taste
Pickled garlic and garlic scapes preserve freshness
Add scapes to a bag with some olive oil and seasonings then shake and put on the grill like you would with asparagus
Slice garlic scapes like green beans and mimic your favorite way to make beans

Garlic scapes are great in any dish: we have added them to our eggs, pasta dishes, stir frys and anything else you can think of!

Pizza: Add an entire bulb of garlic, each clove sliced & spread evenly across pizza and adding onion & avocado slices will make it a gourmet masterpiece!
Squash: Next time you're baking squash, slice or mince a clove or two & mix it with butter before placing on the squash.
Grilling: anytime we're grilling we roast a bulb (away from high heat). Slice the top off, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in foil.
